Embark on an unforgettable 2-day journey from the vibrant streets of Marrakech to the golden dunes of Zagora. This tour is perfectly designed for travelers who want a deep taste of the Sahara adventure within a short timeframe.
Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Draa Valley – Zagora
Our adventure begins with a scenic drive across the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass. You will explore the legendary Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a famous filming location for Hollywood movies. After lunch, we wind through the lush palm groves of the Draa Valley, the longest valley in Morocco.
As the sun begins to set, you will mount your camel for a trek into the Zagora dunes. Arrive at our traditional desert camp to enjoy a warm Moroccan dinner, Berber music around the campfire, and a peaceful night under a star-filled sky.
Day 2: Zagora – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the desert horizon. After a traditional breakfast, enjoy a final camel ride back to meet your driver. We head toward Ouarzazate, known as the "Gateway to the Desert," where you can admire the historic Taourirt Kasbah. The journey continues back through the Atlas Mountains, arriving in Marrakech by early evening.
